After being a TV producer for 15 years, she decided to change trajectories and become a restaurateur. With a good knowledge of kosher and jewish cuisine, and very interested by the rise of the quality and notoriety of Israeli wines, she thought up the first kosher wine bar. “Regular”wine bars can of course be found everywhere around the world, but curiously (or not) the only real wine bar in Israel, located in tel Aviv, is non kosher !
What city could, better than Paris, world capital of gastronomy and wine, welcome that project ? After getting a professional cooking diploma from the Ecole Grégoire Ferrandi, the best in Paris, she worked as a chef at Alef Bet, a kosher cooking atelier, and as a cooking consultant for Golan Heights Winery.
She wrote and imagined Yayin’s modern Jewish cuisine menu, and also the viniettes, in order to help the restaurant’s clients to pick and appreciate the excellent kosher wines featured on the wine card and at the store.
